{"id":1076,"date":"2011-04-06T22:51:32","date_gmt":"2011-04-06T21:51:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lumen.nu\/rekveld\/wp\/?p=1076"},"modified":"2019-08-24T16:43:51","modified_gmt":"2019-08-24T15:43:51","slug":"exhibitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.joostrekveld.net\/?p=1076","title":{"rendered":"exhibitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow will be the opening of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shareconference.net\/en\/exhibition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Synthetic Cinema<\/a> exhibition that is part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shareconference.net\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SHARE Conference<\/a> in Belgrade. which includes my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joostrekveld.net\/wp\/?p=810\">#37<\/a> amongst works by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paulprudence.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Paul Prudence<\/a>, Lia, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.analogmotiongraphics.com\/archives\/83\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Woody Vasulka &amp; Brian O\u00b4Reilly<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quayola.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Qayola<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinafrank.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tina Frank<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.2minds.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Seidel<\/a>. On Saturday April 9th, I will give a short talk there under the title \u00b4<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shareconference.net\/en\/lineup\/joost-rekveld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Speculative Machines<\/a>\u00b4. The conference programme ranges from Bruce Sterling to North-African media activists, and also includes people like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.datenform.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aram Bartholl<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/artsite.arts.ucsb.edu\/people\/faculty\/peljhan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marko Peljhan<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/civic.mit.edu\/blog\/csik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chris Csikszentmihalyi<\/a> and Jacob Appelbaum (of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torproject.org\/index.html.en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tor project<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>After that I\u00b4ll be in Milan for the opening of the presentation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kabk.nl\/milano.php?id=0507\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KABK<\/a> at the Salone di Mobile, for which I was the guest curator.
